Heat treatment strengthening technology of electrical spring, heat treatment in protective atmosphere. In our country, the heat treatment of springs, oil quenched tempered steel wires and toughened steel wires with wire less than 15 mm adopts protective atmosphere heat treatment. Protective atmosphere heat treatment can eliminate surface decarbonization and oxidation and improve the surface quality of materials.
Electrical springs with springs as conductors or springs working in water (including sea water) and steam environment under uncertain humidity conditions are generally made of copper and gold.
Springs working in acid contact and other corrosive media are usually made of stainless steel or nickel alloy. Springs used in general environmental media conditions, using ordinary spring steel, are made into springs and then coated with anti-rust or electroplated (galvanized, cadmium-plated, copper-plated) to prevent corrosion.
In order to satisfy the accuracy of the springs used in weighing instruments and instruments which are not affected by temperature changes, constant elastic alloys with minimal changes in modulus of elasticity and coefficient of expansion are generally used.
Reinforcement plastics can be used for springs requiring light weight, insulation, anti-collision, anti-rust and other special uses. At present, the most suitable plastic spring is the thermosetting reinforced plastic GFRP with epoxy resin and phenolic resin as the matrix and glass fiber reinforced. Vibration-proof rubber can also be used to manufacture various types of rubber springs.
